Charter Member

For a one-time fee of $400, this category includes lifelong membership in the Digital Imaging Institute and special recognition as a Charter Member on the Digital Imaging Institute website.

Charter Member with Limited Edition "20/20" Print

Added to the benefits of a Charter Member, this category makes available a limited edition photograph by Digital Imaging Institute Founder Mark Maio. In addition to his work in medical/scientific imaging, Mark has another side of his life devoted to fine art photography. Throughout his career, Mark has balanced both sides of his photographic life. At times, he has used his imaging in ophthalmology as art. During a four year period in the late 1990's, Merck Pharmaceutical commissioned Mark to produce a series of images of the iris of the eye for a calendar distributed throughout the world. In 2008, the University of North Carolina Charlotte commissioned Mark to produce eight, 65" X 65" images for permanent installation in the rotunda of their College of Health and Human Services building. Mark used twenty of his iris images to assemble "20/20" as one of those images.

The photograph will be limited to an edition of 15, printed and matted using archival materials. Mat size will be 20" X 24" with image size being 12" X 12". Prints will be signed and numbered. Membership cost: $1,000
